Each year, during Immaginaria, the city of Venaria Reale transforms into a true stage of light and creativity. Among the most striking installations, the video mapping created on the church of Venaria represents a central moment of the visual experience offered to the public.
This video mapping project was designed to enhance the architecture of the church through an immersive visual narrative, bringing together contemporary art, technology, and the identity of the local area.
Christmas mapping projections
The projections created on the church of Venaria stand out for their rich composition of colors, Christmas elements, and refined visual details.
For the third consecutive year, Venaria renews its collaboration with Proietta for the creation of the Christmas projections, confirming a strong continuity in both creativity and quality.
The visual composition was designed by the artist Gaspare Di Caro, who transformed the church façade into a dynamic, living surface in constant motion.
Through light effects, geometric patterns, and fluid animations, the video mapping reinterprets the architectural space in an original way, creating a dialogue between the physical structure and the digital dimension. The result is an immersive experience that can move and surprise the viewer.
The architectural surfaces are thus transformed into a true luminous scenography, where every detail contributes to creating a warm and evocative atmosphere. The visuals, carefully designed, enhance the structure of the church without overwhelming it, complementing its forms with elegance.
