Imagine a fortress perched atop a mountain, with thick, imposing walls, and an interior that has transformed from a military stronghold into a hub for high-profile exhibitions and cultural events—we are talking about the Forte di Bard in Italy. In the courtyard of this historic building, PROIETTA creates immersive 360° artistic projections. An engaging show that, over four editions, has entertained visitors to the fortress. For a period of about a month, the projectors were installed outdoors using PROIETTA’s climate-controlled housings, which protected the equipment from cold and adverse weather conditions.
2025 EDITION: The Nutcracker by Theodor Hoffmann
The wonderful and imaginative Christmas tale The Nutcracker by Theodor Hoffmann, accompanied by Tchaikovsky’s music, comes to life on the façades of the Forte courtyard. On Christmas Eve, the battle with the Mouse King and the journey through the extraordinary worlds described in the story are transformed into a spectacular display of colors, flowers, sweets, and whimsical characters. A timeless story, capable of astonishing with its originality and imagination, brought to life by Proietta in the 2025 edition.
2024 EDITION: The Kingdom of the Stars – A Journey into the Vastness of the Cosmos**
A journey that begins from the highest peaks of the Aosta Valley, exploring galaxies, nebulae, and constellations, before returning to Earth in the desert illuminated by the Star of Bethlehem, guiding the Magi on their way. An imaginative and artistic experience centered on three themes:
WONDER: the spectacle of the universe seen through the poetic lens described in literature.
SCIENCE: elements of astronomy that connect Christmas to specific regions of the cosmos.
MYSTERY: the mystical vision that has always surrounded the celestial vault.
