To celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Breuil-Cervinia – Plan Maison cable car, Proietta contributed to the creation of an immersive experience combining laser projections, technology, music and live performances to celebrate the identity of one of the world’s most iconic Alpine destinations.
The visual narrative took the audience on a journey through Breuil-Cervinia’s past, present and future, telling the story of a destination that has, since 1936, established itself as an internationally renowned landmark.
TECHNOLOGY AND DESIGN
Projecting in an Alpine environment means working with long distances, challenging environmental conditions and a natural setting that requires precisely engineered solutions.
For this project, laser systems capable of projecting over distances of up to 7 km were used, bringing the light-based narrative to a scale that matched the vastness of the landscape.
The projectors were supported by the F24-X2, Proietta’s protective enclosure designed to ensure equipment can operate reliably in demanding outdoor conditions, providing both protection and continuous operation.
The projections transformed the landscape into a storytelling canvas, creating a dialogue between architecture, nature, music and live performance, and bringing 90 years of history to life through light.
The result is an experience that brings together innovation and heritage, demonstrating how light projection can enhance the identity of a place and create an engaging experience for the audience.
